In our classes, the target language is used exclusively, in order to encourage students to learn vocabulary and grammar in context through constant interaction. This approach allows us to minimise the number of theoretical grammar classes and maximise the students\u2019 practical use of the language.<\/p>\n

The three phases followed in each class to introduce each topic on the curriculum are detailed below:<\/p>\n

  • Presentation: during this phase, the teacher introduces a new topic and vocabulary, using examples and questions to get students actively involved in their learning.<\/li>\n
  • Practice: students apply what they have learnt to put together correct sentences and expressions, with guidance and corrections from the teacher, which boosts their confidence and skills.<\/li>\n
